The truth about fitness is that this is a sport that takes time and dedication to achieve results. Most people will sign up during a specific time such as after the holidays, during the new year, or a couple of months before summer thinking that they can get that ripped body that they’ve always wanted in just a few months. Though this may be possible for some (some as in those that just need to drop 5-10 lbs), most people are looking for something bigger than that such as building a good amount of muscle or getting down to a specific body fat percentage. Things like this will take time and that is where we come in to help.
Always Engage
One of the biggest stressors to fitness is being able to stay active and to always engage your muscle groups without hitting a plateau. For this reason, you’ll have to change your workout every few weeks and try a new routine so your body will constantly adapt to it. For example, if you’re hitting 8x low weights for 4 sets then do the opposite and do 4x high weights for 3 sets. Or if you’re doing high intensity interval running then change it up and do low intensity, endurance running for 45 minutes. You get the idea, just keep mixing the workouts out so your body never has a chance to get used to your current routine and you’ll never hit a plateau again.
